In this agreement “TECHNICIAN” means

“CLIENT” refers to the person (s) to whom this invoice is

Details of work:
Before each job a brief consultation will take place, whereby the Technician and the Client will agree to a specific set of tasks to be performed on the computer or other device. The Technician may inform the Client of any decisions that may prove to cause harm to the computer or jeopardize the objective of the desired task.
Guarantee:
Most hardware is guaranteed replacement, if found to be defective, by Busat Computer Solutions for up to 30 days from the date of the invoice and therafter is the responsibility of the manufacturer for up to one year. Should any damage occur to any new product as a result of any abuse or misuse by the Client the Guarantee becomes null and void.
After the fact:
All efforts are made to ensure that the work is done professionally and in a timely manner so that the Client does not encounter any difficulties and inconveniences. The hourly labour rate will apply if difficulties were incurred due to the Client's misuse of software or hardware devices.
Service Fees:
Unless otherwise stated on the Client's invoice, fees for all jobs are on an hourly rate plus applicable taxes. There is a one hour minimum charge for any service. The hourly rate is for labour only and excludes any additional charges for software and/or hardware. Total fees are due upon completion of service and are payable by cash or cheque only.
Protection of Data:
The Client is responsible and agrees to back-up all and any data, software, information and files from their computer. The Client may also request the Technician to perform a back-up to which a single copy will be provided for the client at an hourly rate. The Technician will not be responsible for any items that may end up being lost or damaged during the back-up process. The Client agrees that whether or not the Technician does a back-up, the Technician is not liable or responsible for any loss, alterations or corruption of data, software, information and/or files.
All necessary precautions will be taken by the Technician to ensure any and all data put on the computer is free of viruses and spyware. However the Technician will not assume any responsibility for loss of data, damage to software or damage to hardware which may occur at any point in time.
The Technician is not responsible for loss of data, damage to hardware or software during or after completion of services.
